Quickstart
Get from zero to your first page build in under 5 minutes.Step 1: Install the plugin
Install and activate Impossible on your WordPress site. See Installation for upload or manual install.Step 2: Get an API key
- Go to the Impossible web app
- Sign up or sign in
- Open Dashboard → API Keys
- Click Generate API key
- Copy the key (it’s shown only once)
Step 3: Connect WordPress
- In WordPress admin, go to Impossible → Settings
- Paste your API key
- If using LocalWP or a local site, check Are you using this on a local / development environment? and paste your ngrok URL
- Click Test Connection — wait for “Connection successful”
- Click Save
Step 4: Open the builder
- Go to Impossible in the admin menu
- Select a page in the Site Explorer
- Type a prompt in the chat, e.g. “Add a hero section with Welcome to Our Site”
- Press Enter and watch the preview update
